Different environments or engines in the same query
Kerry fetches the rows from @project.table, or from @project:environment.table for a specific environment, and puts them in a temporary table on the tab’s connection. The tab can be on Postgres and the JOIN on MySQL, for example, and you do not need a DB Link or extra privileges on the server.
No re-entry, the connections are already in the next workspace
A project groups the connections, one per environment. You open any workspace and the project is already there.
Change or reuse values without rewriting the query
Kerry replaces :variable on execution with Text, Number, Boolean, Null, an SQL fragment, or a $faker., and sends the already resolved SQL to the database. You use :variable:environment when the value belongs to another environment, and choose Local or Global.
No more rewriting, reuse fragments intelligently
SQL fragments go into the editor from a prefix, with placeholders such as ${1:name} that Tab walks through, if you prefer. You set the engine or the environment when you need to.
Your preferred desktop AI connected to Kerry
Kerry connects the assistant to your databases securely, without exposing credentials to the agent. Access is read-only by default, which protects you from accidents.
No form filling, the connection is already in the dialog
A connection string on the clipboard opens the project dialog already filled in. You review the fields and connect.
A different database on each tab, side by side
Each tab has its own connection, its own database, and its own environment. You keep one tab on Postgres and another on Oracle, for example, and arrange them as you prefer, without needing an extra window for that.
No side script, the test data goes in the SQL
Kerry replaces $faker. in the editor, with autocomplete, with a new value on every run or with a static value if you prefer.
Find any action by typing
⌘K or Ctrl+K opens the palette. Type to find a command, a tab, a panel, or settings, on the home screen and in a workspace.
And other features
No panic, undo what you applied by accident
Inserts, edits, and deletions from the table editor go into the history. You compare the previous value with the new one and revert an item or the batch when you need to.
Saved connections, credentials, SQL, results, and schema stay on your computer. License checks and updates talk to the Kerry Studio API: key, account email, device id, and the app version, not your database. If you turn on local MCP, the desktop AI assistant you use may send schema and SQL results to its own model.
